thanks for reporting this bug. This seems to be related to bug 113056.
That one is from adept manager rather than adept software properties but
both seem to be caused by broken utf-8 decoding and are both part of the
same application. Also if you get repeated occurrences of a bug there is
no need to file separate reports. You can just add a comment that the
bug is consistently reproducible.
