** Description changed:

  installing to a external drive, ubiquity crashed.  External drive was 
formatted
- "do somethng else" was chosen , no swap, / was selected on a ntfs partition.

**(sorry for confusion the disk was NTFS, but I "did something else" to add a 
Ext4 partition)
