Public bug reported:

After listening to music for a while (using Rhythmbox) the sound quality
suddenly degrades. The audio crackles, and it also sounds like the
bitrate has been lowered drastically.

I have attached a pulseaudio log. I can't pinpoint exactly where in the
log the problem starts, but it is fine at the beginning and the problem
happens somewhere toward the end of the time period.

I am using Logitech USB headphones. I think the exact model is in the
log files (pulseaudio has crashed at the moment so I can't access the
Sound control panel).

** Affects: pulseaudio (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
