thanks for taking the time to report this bug. I think it's actually a
separate issue to 95996 but we need some more information to figure out
what is happening. Those X errors are a nuisance but are not
particularly serious. The fact that X restarted during your upgrade
install is more worrying. This bug is dated 26-03-2007. That's before
the final release of feisty, can you reproduce this bug with a fully
updated feisty? If you can could you describe in more detail what
happened? What exactly were you trying to update/install, were there any
error messages and if so what did they say?
