I confirm that the problem still occurs in the upstream kernel
(3.4.0-030400rc3-generic). In fact, there is no driver present in the
Linux kernel for the Cypress trackpad device.
I also find that rmmod/insmod of psmouse.ko doesn't change the behavior.
