Got this to work but have to go out so the location of the preset I'll check later In comment 4 you said "~/.gstreamer-1.0/presets/" which doesn't exist, created but then decided to delete & to put in ~/.gstreamer-0.10/presets/ & also left loose in ~/.gstreamer-0.10. I think the preset folder is where to go
