It read "GNU GRUB version 1.99-18ubuntu1".
Today the crash slightly changed its timing: Instead of seeing a distorted
screen I could see the Ubuntu logo with five dots below it. After a few seconds
they stayed red. I waited some minutes but nothing happened.
Still using the same image as yesterday ("ubuntu-12.04-beta2-desktop-amd64.iso"
on SanDisk Cruzer 2GB).
