** Description changed:

On Ubuntu 12.04 gnome classic, the gnome panel will always display when
playing videos on full screen mode.

- Steps to reproduce:
- At login prompt change to gnome classic.
- Open a browser, go to youtube.com and select a video.
- Click the 'Full Screen' button to maximize.
- Gnome panel should disappear, instead it's still displayed.
+ Steps to reproduce:
+   At login prompt change to gnome classic.
+   Open a browser, go to youtube.com and select a video.
+   Click the 'Full Screen' button to maximize.
+   Gnome panel should disappear, instead it's still displayed.

  Attached screenshot.
+
+ Edit: It behaves like this even when playing videos locally with a media
+ player such as vlc. The gnome panel initially disappears but reappears
+ after a couple of seconds.

+ As a workaround before playing any videos on full screen, set the gnome
+ panel to hidden. It will still show a 1px white border though.
