Jermey, You're welcome. This issue could be fixed by the new firmware attached at comment #44. And Ubuntu will have the new firmware in the next release(Precise Pangolin), so this issue won't bother you anymore. BTW, please remember to remove that dkms package once you regrade to the newer version.
