** Description changed:

- Earlier versions of utouch-geis included a stub for
- geis_gesture_reject(). The intention was to implement the call later,
- automatically enabling proper gesture rejection without any need for new
- development. Unfortunately, the API needed to change, and this went into
- effect in utouch-geis 2.2.6. To fix utouch-qml, we merely need to remove
- the calls to geis_gesture_reject().
+ Freeze Exception
+ ================
+ This bug, along with bug 987554 and bug 987552, fix serious regressions in
uTouch-qml. The package is not seeded and has no dependencies in the Ubuntu
archive. A new upstream release has been made, and it includes only fixes for
these three bugs.
+
+ I have tested these changes on a touchscreen laptop and with an Apple
+ Magic Trackpad.
