** Description changed: There is screen corruption starting on grub - it appears as gray box when loading the system, even if you do not go to grub it appears every boot a gray box with no text, then there is too much flicker during boot and some after the desktop environment is loaded, the way to reproduce it reliably when the DE is loaded is to go to system settings > screens and it flickers every time you hit the button detect screens.
