Hi Joseph,  I do not know what a kernel is.  I know how to turn my 
computer on and do the simple things I have learned to do, and that's 
about it.  The words and terminology used in computers is all gobbly 
gook to me.   Whatever the bug is may have to stay there.   I live in a 
small country town with one computer shop that only works on
