Hi, I think this bug should get a higher priority because of its very confusing specially for new Ubuntu Users. Users which don't realize why they can't shutdown the system will try to force it and the only way which the most know is to press and hold the PowerButton. Data loss possible... FIrst step should be a information window which inform the User in the LightDM Session that the system couldn't shutdown because other Users are logged on and also inform about which users are affected. Or we make in the System Indicator everywhere the Shutdown entry in this situation unusable and rename it to: "Shutdown - 2 Active Users"
In a second step it should be possible anyway to run a PolicyKit dialog to force the shutdown. regards, BlueCase -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/861171 Title: Shutdown from greeter does nothing when multiple accounts open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/indicator-session/+bug/861171/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
