I can't change backlight on Toshiba Satellite C650D with Ubuntu 12.04.
It worked perfectly on 11.10.
I tried booting with acpi_backlight=vendor kernel parameter, but no
changes. Switched from radeon to fglrx, no change either.
Battery life is poor with backlight on maximum plus it is giving me
headaches in the evening.

+ Shutdown Laptop in the evening; next morning: Everything works. I don't
