Sorry, I am not an expert. I have a problem to shut down in Ubuntu
11.10. It never shusts down and I have to use the power off button. Can
your solution be  used in my case as well? If it can, then what should I
do? How do we rename the file you are referring to? Should we use the
terminal- if so, what exactly should I write. I thank you in advance for
your replies.
