This bug suggests a possible soloution. http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7932
It suggests that some of these problems may be due to suspend operations occuring. I'm building a kernel without power management, as a first test. Will try one with CONFIG_USB_SUSPEND unset, and rest of power management enabled if that works. Also, here are some patches that might be relevant: http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.linux.usb.devel/54630 Finally, here's a list of possible kernel bugs that might match this Ubuntu bug: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&product=Drivers&component=USB&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=error+-71&kernel_version_type=allwordssubstr&kernel_version=&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=REOPENED&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=RESOLVED&bug_status=VERIFIED&bug_status=REJECTED&bug_status=DEFERRED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=®ression=both&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0= -- USB devices are not recognized when having ehci_hcd modprobed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/88746 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
