Just tried to debug. I set gfxpayload to text, and removed 'quiet' and 'splash'. The result was the exact same.
The last line displayed before the graphics corruption happened was something with 'fbcon'. Loads a bit too fast to tell. Also tried to boot the install CD with noapic, nolapic, acpi=off, and permutations of those settings. None of them resulted in a successful boot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/986149 Title: crash while booting MacBook Pro 6,2 from USB To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plymouth/+bug/986149/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
