Logitech replaced my Anywhere MX mouse. Worryingly, the new mouse worked perfectly with Oneiric, just like my old mouse; but when I booted up the 12.04 partition (same computer) the brand new Anywhere Mouse failed (so far just once) to be recognized. Had to unplug the USB transmitter and plug it back in. Why this is worrisome is that this is precisely how the older mouse began to fail.
I'm concerned that something in 12.04 (the kernel?) is potentially damaging the hardware. I never had problems with my old mouse until I started testing 12.04. Is it sheer coincidence? Seems to me that the severity of the bug should be changed and the devs should start taking this problem seriously - either eliminating possibilities or confirming them. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958174 Title: Wireless Mouse not registered on Startup or Reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/958174/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
