I tried both a Windows Server with NTFS and a Linux Samba server with
ext4. Obviously ext4 allows it.

I tried using smbmount and it worked to copy it this way.

Just for the heck of it I tried making a file like this in windows. It
doesn't allow it. It won't even allow you to type in :

I then made a a:a:a.txt in my linux samba share. Fine in linux (Using
command line at least). Open in Windows and it appears as AFBZGB~A ha!

I'm quickly getting out of scope with edge case valid file name
characters. It seems like this could be a reasonably often issue just
because the default screenshot tool uses a time format with colons for
the name. I think it should either work (and let windows suffer with
silly names) or not work and give a clear warning about invalid
characters.
