- Today, when my scheduled backup started, I noticed it takes much longer
- than usually to complete it. Deja-dup was stuck on "Uploading", and the
- progress bar was completely empty. Actually, even after few hours
- nothing has changed. FTP backup works perfectly well, no luck with
- Ubuntu One though. I've tried a few times and results have always been
- the same. As nethogs app shows, duplicity sends some data all the time
- during its work, but progress bar doesn't move nor there are any new
- files created in backup folder on Ubuntu One. The last backup has been
- just 25MB of size, so it shouldn't have taken too long to upload it.
- I've also tried to create completely new, fresh backup, but it hasn't
- worked either.
+ UPDATE: it wasn't duplicity's fault actually. It was my home directory
+ that had grown over 2GBs. Backup wasn't 25MB, it was default size of
+ backup part that Deja Dup sets.
- It was all OK when I used deja-dup before, a week ago.
+ Now the problem is that Deja Dup doesn't show upload progress
+ accurately. In my case it changes from completely empty to completely
+ full. I wouldn't call this accurate.

+ Tip: do not backup whole home directory if your connection does not allow to
upload large files fast.
