Trying to "apt-get dist-upgrade" from lucid to precise I get the
following error:
E: Could not perform immediate configuration on 'python-minimal'.Please
see man 5 apt.conf under APT::Immediate-Configure for details. (2)
So I tried to upgrade just python-minimal and it failed the same:
root@linux:/var/tmp# apt-get install python-minimal

Clearly this is an acceptable situation when trying to upgrade from one
LTS to another.
