I'm continuing to have this problem. It makes XDMCP nearly useless. I don't think it's a setting that is "sticking during the dist-upgrades" since it occurs on fresh installs. Since everyone doesn't seem to have this problem, maybe it's caused by some obscure configuration parameter that some of us are not setting properly.
