Public bug reported:
Sound Applet -"Record Sound From" list does not show any devices to
select. There should be a built in Microphone and a line input device as
standard on the Acer Aspire 1. If I reinstall and olderversion i.e.
11.10 they are shown. Then reinstall 12.l04 again and the devices are
missing again.
