>> You'll still need to use dconf-editor though to set GNOME Shell shortcuts for Ubuntu 12.04
>Could you please explain how to set shortcut to launch terminal using dconf-editor? I have the same question. I can use dconf to setup keyboard shortcuts for functions it has listed as default options, like mapping minimize to 'Scroll_Lock', but I haven't figure out how to add custom shortcuts, like launching a terminal via gnome-terminal with 'Insert'. How can I create a custom shortcut for launching a terminal in GNOME Shell and 12.04? I should note that ctrl+alt+t works for me, but changing that shortcut in System Settings is ineffective. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/965921 Title: gnome-shell most keyboard shortcuts not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/965921/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
