Binary package hint: mplayer
I updated my feisty installation today... unfortunately mplayer / mencoder both
have the same bug the previous package in feisty had. Playing any video in
mplayer, the video appears for about 2-3 seconds, skipping heavily. After that,
mplayer quits with only an "End of file" message."
I had previously fixed this problem by downgrading to an older mplayer and
mencoder, using a deb file available on the devede homepage.
I fixed the upgrade from today by effectively rolling it back again... I am now
using the same mplayer and mencoder programs as before (the deb package on
devede's website).
