Public bug reported:
I'm using 12.04 LTS (Lubuntu) on a Sony VAIO YB3V1E/S AMD E-450
notebook.
This didn't happend in 11.10 (I installed 11.10 originally and upgraded
it).
If I have xfce4-power-manger set to suspend on lid close, then when I
open the lid and press a key to resume it, the notebook resumes briefly
and then goes backt to sleep.
My guess is that maybe xfce4-power-manager is getting a spurrious lid
close event after or during the first wakeup.
A second key press resumes it again and then it stays awake like it's
supposed to.
If I disable the use of the lid key for suspsend and do it manually
using the sleep key (fn + F12), then I don't have the problem.
I'm using the fglrx driver from the ubuntu repository.
