Hello! I just did a few iterations of hibernate on this system, using the released version of 12.04, and things are working fine now, it's able to hibernate and restore without problems.
I used fwts to do my testing. Kernel is 3.2.0-23.36. One difference is that I tested with 64-bit, whereas the original report was done on 32-bit. I'll reinstall and retest as soon as possible, and update the bug status when I know whether this is also solved on 32-bit.
