This is hapening to me too in Ubuntu 12.04

** Description changed:

On the Linux platform, Firefox renders several things not transparent
although it does on Windows. This causes Firefox to visually stand out
  from other applications:

  - the Light themes' tooltips are not transparent and not rounded
  - auto scroll icon is not antialiased/transparent
  - (users that want to use transparent themes don't see a transparent firefox
window)

Since Linux otherwise has no problems with compositing/X11 ARGB/etc. ,
this appears to be something that can be solved.

- Release: Ubuntu 10.04
+ Release: Ubuntu 10.04 and Ubuntu 12.04
  Firefox version: 5.0
