This isn't really a Firefox bug. There is no way for Firefox to do this,
as this type of thing isn't supported in any other part of the stack
when using the global menubar (unity, gtk, dbusmenu) and is not ever
likely to be supported either (supporting something like this would add
significant complexity for a feature that nobody else has asked for in
over a year, and no other application does this either)
