On the server text box I upgraded there is no /var/log/dist- upgrade/term.log file. This box was upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04. I will check the other box (which was 11.10 to 12.04) when I am able. This does not happen on every upgrade, but it has happened 2 out of 3 times for me. I don't know if it has anything to do with the mode of the profiles or something else that may have been changed about AppArmor. If it had only happened once I would have written it off, but twice I figured I would post what happened with the solution so that other people can get passed this.
