I've upgraded today from a native 11.10 install to 12.04. I ran into
this issue, started searching and landed on this page here.

After reading the thread I wanted to try the workaround from comment #3.
So I installed ccsm. But now I'm really confused: The ubuntu unity
plugin is NOT enabled. So why is the keycombo linked to the menubar
anyway?

So I found launched the "system settings" menu, choosed "keyboard" ->
"shortcuts" -> "windows". There I saw that maximize/restore is mapped to
<ctrl>+<super>+<arrow-up>/<arrow-down>. Setting <ALT>+<F10> in this menu
does not help, so I decided to live with new shortscuts, because they
seem logical. But I really do not like this.
