Public bug reported:
Simple and repeatable:
With a new Glade project
1. insert a window widget.
2. insert notebook widget into the window
3. select page 2 of notebook
4. attempt to insert a label widget as page 2 child widget
At this point it appears that insert didn't happen. Click a few more
times to try to insert the label widget. Basically, Glade has gone
unresponsive and is ignoring further clicking. Eventually, crashing out.
Where I first noticed this, was in attempting to cut and paste a grid
containing other widgets into page 2 of the notebook. System activity
after attempting a paste was consistent with a recursive loop. Causing a
memory leak and the machine to becoming swap locked.
Now the work around. Simply place a widget (label) into page 1 before
attempting to place any widgets into page 2. Works for the proceedure
above as well as the cut and paste.
