No Marco, it is not. The other bug (and its fix) concerns ONLY the
situation in a 'backlight toggle' mode, while this bug is about
'backlight always on' situation, which is by no means fixed (or even
related) to the one you've mentioned. Please, have a look at the
screenshot I've attached to THIS bug, and comapre it with those of the
other bug.
To sum up, this bug is still not fixed and needs some attention.
