Not sure if this is related, but I have a couple of instances that the pc gets connected to the AP and gets IP (v4 & v6) from the AP(its a router) I am unable to have any L3 connections with anything. When I did a packet trace, I saw that ARP messages was working, but anything L3 never got a reply.
But my Android phone connected to the same AP worked just fine. This state happen the first time I booted the pc after installing 12.04 and then later again after I just closed the lid and it went into suspended mode and got "booted" up again. Workaround for that was to remove connection entry from Network Manager and reboot and then associate after rebooting. Had to do this a couple of times before it working. I also head from somebody I know, that they have had the same issue with latest version of SuSE, ie getting IP from network, but no L3 traffic working, this also over WLAN. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993585 Title: Dropping WLAN connection every 7-10 minutes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/993585/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
