I had a bug effecting the music store lens under 12.04 after upgrading to 12.04 from 11.10.
12.04 became unusable after the upgrade as on a reboot or a fresh start, the login screen never appeared, so I was unable to select a user to login as, there was only the top menu bar and options to shutdown or suspend. I though it may be a kernel issue so as a test I rebooted and selected the previous kernel I was using under 11.10 and that sorted the login problem and the bug I had been getting with Music-lens seems to be gone too. Kernel 3.2.0-24 seemed to have the issues on 12.04. I'm not running 3.0.0.17 again and so far no issues with the music lense or login fields going missing. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/917974 Title: unity-music-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in g_bit_lock() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity/+bug/917974/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
