Public bug reported:

As opensource graphics drivers slowly emerge for ARM systems (omap,
tegra, samsung, ...) there is some need for a userspace driver for these
early implementations of KMS kernel driver. E.g. a new KMS driver for
the NVIDIA Tegra GPU is beeing developed on, but also most other
graphics chips (also for x86 systems) provide a KMS kernel interface.

At http://cgit.freedesktop.org/xorg/driver/xf86-video-modesetting/ a
very basic graphics driver for KMS is available. Please add a driver
package (xf86-video-modesetting) to be able to support this basic
interface.
