Ben - powernow-k8 is still built in, but you can cause it to not
initialize by specifying the frequency governor of your choice as
explained in the patch :
+ cpufreq_driver= [X86] Allow only the named cpu frequency scaling driver
+ to register. Example: cpufreq_driver=powernow-k8
+ Format: { none | STRING }
+
Specify 'cpufreq_driver=none' on the kernel command line to disallow
_all_ frequency governors.
