Ok, just to be sure I didnt mess up anything during the package switching, I made a fresh server installation of Ubuntu 10.04.4 and installed the packages provided in the package.list I attached.
Steps I did after installing: apt-get update apt-get upgrade apt-get install dselect dpkg --set-selections < package.list dselect # Install do-release-upgrade -d In the attachement there is the package.list I used for installing the packages. I will also add the new /var/log/dist-upgrade just in case. ** Attachment added: "package.list" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager-core/+bug/993836/+attachment/3129626/+files/package.list -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993836 Title: do-release-upgrade from 10.04.4 to 12.04 doesn't work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager-core/+bug/993836/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
