I seem to have the same problem, same graphics card. It happens rather
regularly on my laptop. About every 30-60 minutes. Super-SysRq-k usually
doesn't work for me. Sometimes it does.

This problem has appeared for me unregarding of what programs i am
using. Once even having all programs closed when i was about to shutdown
my laptop. I usually have my laptop plugged in, i rarely work on battery
power.

I had this bug on a Xubuntu 12.04 i had upgraded from 11.10 and now
again on the fresh install i did on the same laptop.
