Binary package hint: alsa-utils
I try to mute/umute my soundcard using
amixer set 'Analog Front' toogle
this does not work although it's described in the manpage
also mute does not work
amixer set 'Analog Front' mute
it says: Invalid command!
but
amixer set 'Analog Front' 0
works
or
amixer set 'Analog Front' +1
so there's a difference between manpage and actual capabilities.
BTW: with the integrated gnome-mixer and keyboardshortcuts this works fine
I just don't know how to control this via commandline
(I'm using this all for my remotecontrol)
