Hi Brian, Thank you for looking into my upgrade problem. This surprises me as no applications rather than server stuff was running and the box has 4GB of RAM.
Anyway, after restarting I ran apt-get -f install, apt-get update and apt-get upgrade followed by the update-manager (telling me multiple times that partial upgrades are not possible) and several reboots.
