Public bug reported:
this package seems to be have a problem (crash) on a new installation of
Precise 12.04. I must precise that I have installed too the last version of
Gimp (2.8) with an extra PPA.
A update of this version in a official update should probably resolve this
conflict.
I precise too that this bug have been reported by apport.
