Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. The Ubuntu Live CD is designed to be a "live filesystem" and
does not appear as a CD when you have booted from it; this is normal.
Once you have installed Ubuntu and are booted from the hard drive, you
will be able to use your CD drive normally again.
