Public bug reported: XChat-WDK originally is a fork of XChat that you can use on Windows for free, but it also works on Linux. XChat seems to be inactive, the last version was released on 30th May 2010 in comparison to XChat-WDK that was updated tonight. (22:14 4th May 2012)
