I'm still getting this bug; atleast with the 6.06.1 install media. System still hangs at 'loading ramdisk', hardware is 2002 imac g4.
The Fedora Core bug seems to have been resolved in the newer FC6 kernels. If the bugs are releated, then the problem may lie with the offb video driver.
