Can i just add that both systems are exactly the same in terms of software setup-same kernel same programs installed- Only difference is the sony system is a dual boot config whether as the old laptop system (with 1gb ram) only has 12.04 lts. The only other difference is that PAE is enabled on the 4gb ram model and not on the 1gb ram laptop.
