Same Problem with Toshiba e-Studio 165, even using latest ppd from http://business.toshiba.com/support/downloads.jsp?site=usa . (--> "GA119x CUPS Driver") I can print the printer test page, but no more documents from libreoffice. I can print by printing form libreoffice to a pdf and then print by evince or adobe reader 9, but not by gtklp. Problem occours with ubuntu precice 12.04, but also with ubuntu 10.04 and with debian testing.
