The HD-access-light turns off and then on and remains on the whole time, (although I can hear the hard-drive turnoff.) + It stayed like that overnight until I pressed the on/off button for about 5 seconds to turn the laptop off. If possible, a minimal series of steps necessary to make it happen, where step 1 is "start the program" By clicking on the gear at the top right and then clicking on 'Suspend'.
