Christopher. Thanks for getting back to me; I will be sure to run apport in the future. FYI, when I ran apport for this bug, I noticed something off in the results. It reported that my architecture was AMD-64. The computer in question is an ACER TravelMate 8472-7254 running on an Intel i5 core.
