Steps to reproduce:
Remove Plugin Indicator from the panel.
done.
it restarts only for the networking indicator, not the mailing or the
sound.
this has been happening since 11.10
WORKAROUND:
add a new plugin indicator element to the panel, it replaces the broken one and
all the indicators are back where they belong.
